This is the part of the Archive where certain fragments, for reasons known only to them, become available for custodianship. “Ownership” is too strong a word, and “borrowing” too optimistic.
At the moment, no fragments are seeking caretakers.
This is normal. Relics are notoriously picky about who they leave with, and the Archive has learned not to rush them. Those who have attempted to rush them are now part of our safety orientation slideshow.
When a fragment decides it is ready to be acquired, it will appear here with a polite, if slightly judgmental, notice.
“Some objects choose their people.
Others wait until their people look away.”

The Archive opens its hands slowly, but it opens them.
